Story

Thanks for visiting. Please give whatever you can and sponsor the Stroke Association online now. A stroke is the third most common cause of death in the UK. It is also a leading cause of severe adult disability. The Stroke Association not only helps research to avoid strokes but also supports the families affected by them.

This is my 14th year of riding this event. This year's route is longer than the 32 miles in all the ones I've done before. For 2012 we are riding 50 miles and crossing 16 bridges, starting in Southwark Park (quite near Tower Bridge) and finishing in Hurst Park (beyond Hampton Court Palace) as usual but this year diverting around Regents Park and Hyde Park.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and secure. It is also the most efficient way to give since The Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support for this fantastic cause. It is a great way for you to help make the world a better place. So please dig deep and donate now.

Many thanks.
Rob
