About my charity : National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society
NRAS is the only patient-led charity in the UK specifically for people with rheumatoid arthritis, their families and carers. There is no known cure for this chronic, long-term disease. It affects nearly half a million people in the UK. Some 12,000 are children under the age of 16.

My personal message:

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We are running (ish in Heathers case) the Bupa Manchester 10km run on the 18th May 2008 for the National Rhematoid Arthritis Society. We both know people who have been affected by this debilatating condition however it is a charity and issue that receives very little press coverage.

Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
