Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

Someone is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK. Missing People offers a lifeline to the 170,000 people who go missing every year. We are there for those left behind, we provide specialised support to ease the heartache and confusion, and search for their missing loved ones.

Story

Well, after a number of years of contemplating running the marathon, I have decided to go for it and am running it on the 13th April!!

So, I am now training up and down the Uxbridge Road and am starting to look forward to the big day.

I very much admire the charity I am running for: Missing People. Formerly known as the National Missing Person's Helpline, the charity offers vital support and help to families and individuals who are going through the traumatic experience of having someone they know go missing. They also proactively search for people who are missing.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Missing People will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

I would be very grateful if you could sponsor me - and any amount you are able to give would be much appreciated.

Best Wishes,

Rob
