Mark Robinson is raising money for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund
Donations cannot currently be made to this page

Prague Marathon · 11 March 2008

Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund is dedicated solely to beating pancreatic cancer through research. Survival rates are low, so new research is vital. In the past, this cancer received little attention. With your help, we can change this so more people beat pancreatic cancer.

Story

This is the 2nd of 2 marathons I am running within a month - London on April 13th and Prague on May 11th. I don't think I realised how difficult this challenge was until I got to about 16 miles of London (just 10 miles to go!). The photo was taken at 21 miles and the look says it all...

Make no mistake, its a HUGE challenge and my legs still feel tired and heavy every time I have been running since London. However, I have taken on board a couple of sports massages and will have another one next week. But the lack of running and my unsurpressed appetite has led to some unfortunate weight gains too.

So if you respect the effort and also have some spare change, then please donate some money to my chosen charity. I have chosen the Panceatic Cancer Research Fund because it has affected some close members of my wife's family. So please dig deep and challenge me to run Prague!
