Dear all As part of my goal to raise £10,000 for MacMillan Cancer support in 2008 I am cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats starting on the 1st May.

The ride is one of the challenges that has been set as part of Two Thousand and Great - my year long effort to raise money for Macmillan.

Ten years ago my best friend was taken by Cancer, MacMillan provide so much help and assistance to patients and families fighting the disease and this is my small way of saying thank you to them for the help they gave to my friend, his family and everyone going through the same struggle.

My aim on the ride os to make £2 per mile, which should move me closer to my overall target.
