We support research into all aspects of cancer through the work of more than 4,250 scientists, doctors and nurses. Over the past 10 years alone, thousands of lives have been saved through earlier detection and improved treatments. But, much work remains to be done if we are to achieve our aim of beating cancer.

My story

Sometime between the 20th and 29th of July, I intend to swim solo from England to France in aid of Cancer Research. The distance is 21 miles in a straight line - however the tidal conditions often adds much more to the journey. It will take anywhere between 12 and 16 hours of continuous swimming.
