Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I recently posted on Twitter that I would be doing the coast to coast walk next year and was hoping that someone would have the same idea and wouldn't mind either coming along or should I say leading the way! And to my surprise I found not one but two people willing to put up with me for almost a fortnight! (Chris Sumner & Alex Atkinson)

So far we have decided on dates (20th April 2012 - 1st May 2012) Alex has been putting a route together which will take us 190 miles across England! So to anyone that knows me it's got to be worth a few quid to see the end result of me walking the breadth of the UK!

So I have to admit I knew nothing about Hounds for Heroes until Alex emailed me to suggest that it would be a good cause. It needs more publicity and if you have 5 minutes to take a look then google "hounds for heroes" and take a look at the site, I'm sure you will agree its an excellent cause. The training they do with these pups is amazing and will make a massive difference to disabled men and women in the armed forces and civillian emergency services.

I have owned dogs most of my life and I think that along with the day to day tasks these dogs perform for there owners the companionship and loyalty that comes with a dog is unconditional.

I will be updating Twitter along the way and will set up a blog if you want to follow me and send any messages
