About my charity : The Ear Trust The Ear Trust
The Ear Trust helps in the diagnosis and management of profoundly deaf babies, children and adults mainly in the North of England. It also supplies information on cochlear implantation for families and professionals, supports regular local and national workshops and aids development of assessment and rehabilitation materials.

I am taking part in the Great North Run to raise money for The Ear Trust.

My daughter Grace was left profoundly deaf after suffering from Meningitis last year.  Via the miracles that are Cochlear Implants the good people of the YCIS http://www.ycis.org.uk/ have effectively given her her hearing back.  Please sponsor me and help them towards their fundraising target so that they can continue thier excellent work in a fantastic new building.
