My story
Hi,
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, it's not to late to donate!
I'm very proud to be raising much-needed funds for AMREF (the African Medical and Research Foundation) by climbing Africa's highest mountain, Kilimanjaro. It was the toughest thing I've ever done but I made it to the top!
I've also visited and helped out in three of AMREF's health programmes in Kenya and Tanzania which are using football to pass on life-saving health messages and helping to rebuild trust in communities that have been affected by the recent violence.
I've seen for myself the amazing work that AMREF does in Africa; from working in urban slums in Kenya to stop the spread of HIV/Aids to working with remote rural communities in Tanzania to pass on life-saving health messages in schools. To find out more about AMREF's work, visit www.amref.org/uk.
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online, it's for a great cause and I know that the money you donate will help some of the poorest African communities.
Donating is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: AMREF UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Robert Green
