Helen and I are taking part in a rally, driving a Citroen 2CV from Belgium to Benin, a distance of around 5,500 miles, and using this as a way of raising awareness and funds for the War Child charity.

We recently had a training weekend in Belgium where Helen sat in a 2CV for the first time, and in an uncharacteristic fit of brotherly tolerance, I let her drive it. She actually did quite well and whilst she was concentrating on that, she wasn't making sarcastic comments to me so we both got something from it.

We now have high hopes that we will be able to complete the rally without too many sulks and tantrums (from her not me).
