Story

**updated - 12th August 2005**

Well I have been back for 3 weeks now, and it sadly feels like I was never away, except for the grade 4 haircut I continue to sport.

Key facts:
Total cycled - 1066 miles
Top speed - 48.1 mph
Average speed - 13.3 mph
Mountains climbed - 3 Metres climbed - 3406 The whole thing went without a hitch. We got really really wet on 3 days, scorched by sunshine for about 5 days and then pleasant / cloudy weather for the rest. We ate, we cycled, we ate some more, we climbed and we slept. We met lots of friendly people, quite a few odd people and saw the most lovely and pituresque villages and vistas that made us realise how green and pleasant our land really is. And we raised lots of money for charity so thank you all for sponsoring me, it was a great team effort, you should all be very proud. R, The itinerary was and remained this:Total 960 Miles (actual cycled 1066) Day 1 - Start Lands End 65 miles Day 2 - 75miles Day 3 - 60 miles Day 4 - 75 miles Day 5 - 50 miles Day 6 - 60 miles Day 7 - Rest day, climb Snowdon Day 8 - 80 miles Day 9 - 38 miles Day 10 - Rest day, climb Scafell Pike Day 11 - 38 miles Day 12 - 62 miles Day 13 - 65 miles Day 14 - 65 miles Day 15 - Rest day, climb Ben Nevis Day 16 - 55 miles Day 17 - 60 miles Day 18 - 56 miles Day 19 - 56 miles - John o'Groats
