John O'Groats to Land's End Cycle · 25 March 2009

21st Century Legacy uses Olympians and other inspirational role models to support young people to be the best they can be. Uniquely the young people set out their own success maps and use coaching and peer mentoring to develop awareness and responsibility, allowing them to make the right choices and fulfil their potential.

Story

Hi guys,

In May of this year, I am riding the length of the United Kingdom from John O’Groats down to Lands End, all 950 miles of it! After much deliberation I have decided to ride for a recently formed organisation called 21st Century Legacy.

21st Century Legacy uses Olympians as role models to inspire children to ‘be the best they can be’. By reaching out to half of UK schools before the London Olympics in 2012 (and the other half after) 21st Century Legacy hopes to instil the ‘qualities of champions’ in British school children allowing them to make the right choices and ultimately fulfil their potential.

So folks, this is a pretty big deal for me. Having your support would mean a great deal too both me personally and 21st Century Legacy.

All the best,
Rob
