My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On July 25th 2011 our world changed forever. My nephew David was diagnosed with the genetic disease SMA. Part of this condition means that David needs constant physiotherapy, he is susceptible to many common viral illnesses and he will never crawl or walk. SMA is the leading genetic killer of infants and toddlers.
David is now 18 months old and he's one of the happiest children you'll ever meet. He now has his own wheelchair which he is learning to control like most normal babies will learn to crawl.
I'm fundraising for The SMA Trust, a charity whose objective is to be active and progressive in the search for a cure for SMA.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thanks
Rob
