<p>Thanks for visiting.</p> <p>Well I've gone and splashed out on a shiny new road bike in preparation for a London to Paris cycle ride over 4 days next May. Not having cycled more than the 12 miles to work (which will probably be most of my training) I'm not sure what it's going to entail - a few aches and pains I'd imagine and a few raised fists to ze french drivers.</p> <p>I'm collecting for the National Maternity Support Foundation which is a charity my partner's sister and brother in law set up in memory of Jake their first child lost in childbirth due to a closed maternity unit. The charity is set up to campaign to keep maternity units open and is obviously very important to our family as well as others.</p> <p>Hope you can dig deep as I don't often come begging!!</p> <p>Thanks Rob</p>
