Channel Eagle is a Tri-Service Channel Swim Relay competition - never attempted before!
In addition to the Relay swim Rob Healey will be attempting a solo Channel swim.
Depending on the weather, the team event will take place during the week of 31 Jul 07 - 04 Aug 07.
Rob's solo attempt will be during the week 04 - 10 Sep 07.
Both events take place between Shakespeare Beach, Dover and Cap Gris Nez, France, a 22 mile swim,
Obviously we hope it won't take us all week for each event but can't be more specific about exactly when we'll start swimming until it happens.
We're raising money for both the British Legion and DiabetesUK as both are close to our hearts. Unfortunately we can only have one charity per page on JustGiving so we've got a separate one for the Royal British Legion.
