Babcock IS Three Peaks Challenge · 19 September 2015

STEMNET creates opportunities to inspire young people in STEM. Helping to encourage young people to be well informed about STEM, able to engage fully in debate and make decisions about STEM related issues. We do this by working with schools, colleges and STEM employers.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In September 2015 I (along with a group of others) will be attempting to complete the 'Three Peaks' challenge.

This involves climbing up and down the tallest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scafell Pike) & Wales (Snowdon) in a combined period of 24 hours.

The purpose for taking on this challenge and putting myself through this is to raise money for STEMNET (the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Network). STEMNET works with thousands of schools, colleges and employers, to enable young people of all backgrounds and abilities to meet inspiring role models, understand real world applications of STEM subjects and experience hands-on STEM activities that motivate, inspire and bring learning and career opportunities to life.

I would be extremely grateful if you would be kind enough to provide a donation towards my total, it would act as a huge incentive for me to succeed in this challenge but more importantly your donation will be put to good use by STEMNET.

Thank you

Rob Rooney
