The Animal Health Trust is a charity specifically dedicated to improving the health and welfare of dogs, cats and horses by addressing the problems of disease and injury - the largest threats to animal welfare today. With the help of its supporters, it can achieve this by advancing veterinary science and providing specialist clinical services for all companion animals.

My story

Hello all, thanks for visiting my JustGiving Page. As you can see I’ve decided to partake in a bit of self-induced pain as I put myself through the London Marathon. I’ll be running on behalf of the Animal Health Trust (www.aht.org.uk), which is an extremely worthwhile charity that my father works for. Please visit the AHT website to see what great work is done to help all different types of animals that have been mistreated, abused, malnourished, and worse.

I’ve made my first footsteps towards my goal of raising £1500, notably an embarrassing day on the slopes in Mayrhofen, Austria, wearing Charlie’s (my girlfriend) mother's one-piece ski suit (Check out the picture - could I look any happier!?), along with a stylish furry headpiece and late '80s sunglasses. The early 90’s shimmering pink suit did nothing for my slope-style chic! Now pay up, those of you who were there – and any of you who feel my pain or who realise the pain I’ll be going through in the run!
