On November 20th 2010, Martijn and I are getting married.  Because we have been together for years, there isn't really much we need in way of wedding presents so we are asking people if they would like to make a donation to charity instead.   Chase hospice care for children has been so important to our family for the past 4 years. They came into our lives when we really needed the emotional and physical support they could offer and they have continually made a difference since.  Beth goes to the hospice for respite a few nights a year and has two lovely community support worker who come to spend time with her one day each school holiday.  In addition, they have given me counselling to help me come to terms with Beth's diagnosis as well as having us to stay as a family on many an occasion. Best of all are the massages they give the parents! :) and for Beth the opportunity to meet famous people and to have some fun at their teenage days. We hope that she will continue to be able to enjoy their services for the next few years at least.

It really is a wonderful place so we are delighted to be able to give a bit back.
