I have an amazing 6 year old friend (My best friend's daughter.) She has just been through her second operation to remove a brain tumour and is about to embark on an 18 month course of chemotherapy. She is doing extremely well but this is due to the dedication, skill and hard work of the surgeons, doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, play therapists etc at Edinburgh Sick Kids Hospital.
The hospital has supported her and her family extremely well over the past 2 years but the care and support and often treatment procedures they receive require financial support from the hospital's Friends Foundation fundraising organisation. It is this organisation that I am asking you to support.
On the 11th September I will be throwing myself out of an aeroplane at over 12 000 ft while enduring my first ever parachute jump. I am asking my friends and colleagues to support this endeavour by giving what you can to this worthy cause in order that future families can be supported and cared for in the same way.
