Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Another crackin' night at The Blue Anchor Inn, Helston last night at the BOBBY'S HELMET & High-Voltage charity rock night. A big thankyou to everyone who came along and supported the event, the skittle alley was packed and rockin and it was great to see so many of you having a good time and create such a great atmosphere. Well done to all the brave people who got up on stage to sing with both bands, belting out songs by Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Greenday & Thin Lizzy to name a few. Thanks to Simon and Kim for allowing us to host the event and to all of their bar staff who were rushed off their feet all night! Also, thanks to Bob Sharplesfor taking a few pics and recording some of the gig. Finally, thanks to Donna, Janie & Mandy for their help in manning the door and collecting the entrance fee. In total we raised £340 which will be split equally between the Help for Heroes Official and Brain Tumour Research UK charities. Thanks again for supporting the event, we're looking forward to next year's Charity Rock Night already!
