We are a team of over 17 members from the Chemotherapy suite at Northampton General Hospital raising money for our department by taking part in the Rock Solid event on 20th September 2014 at Silvertsone.

Rock Solid event is a cocktail of mud, sweat and team work!  We will be climbing 12ft high obstacles and then jumping into a lake, stepping on stones submerged in water anticipating wet punishment, sliding down the Hydroslide which is slick and fast and covered in water all to raise money for our department.

Please help us raise money towards a refurbishment of the Chemotherapy Suite.  As a direct result of a patient survey important changes were identified and we would like to make these possible! 

 

The changes being made will create bays for the patients to sit in for more privacy whilst receiving chemotherapy, improve the lighting and colour scheme brightening up the area and improve clinical preparation and treatment areas.

 

These improvements are really important for our patients and we would really welcome your support in helping us reach our target of £350,000.

 

Whilst the NHS receives government funding for healthcare, there is always more that can be done to improve our services. With your help this can be achieved.
