My name's Rod Drew and I'm riding the route of the London 2012 torch relay (approx. 4,000 miles) on my trusty Thorn bike, handmade in Somerset. 

It's a big challenge, and one I am taking on with little support, apart from a few friends along the way who are very kindly putting me up - and some friends back home in Dorset.

I'm doing it because I can - because I'm a bit crazy about cycling - and to raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support.
