About my charity : The National Deaf Children's Society The National Deaf Children's Society
NDCS is the national charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We represent the interests and campaign for the rights of all deaf children and young people from birth to independence. NDCS believes that the family is the most important influence on a deaf child's development. NDCS supports the deaf child through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves.

This trek actually leaves on the day of my birthday 13th May 2006, quite a momentous birthday for me and I have decided to mark it by doing something not only really worthwhile but also for a charity that is close to my heart - the NDCS. At this juncture in my life I am blessed with so many things - family, friends and a career that I enjoy. So instead of either a party or gifts, I'm requesting your support by way of any donation possible to help me reach my goal. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
