Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Both our Dads died through heart failure.  Pretty natural eh. But my Mum has enjoyed 12 years of prolonged life with a pacemaker. Now heart problems are touching my  closest loved ones again

I'm training hard and feeling very fortunate that at the moment my heart can stand it, because you never know when it's going to let you down.  My most recent ride was 52 miles across Dartmoor - mixed surfaces.  The furthest and ghardest I've ever ridden.  I'm gradually building it up, but business, the weather and other demands keep plaguing my training schedule.

Now with just six weeks to go the pressure is on to get at least one 64-miler in.  Spare a thought at 6 one Sunday moprning between now and the end of August!

Please donate really generously, maybe come to see this fantastic event, cheer everyone on and give me a good send-off., or meet me at the finish. I will have put months of training into this so please put your hand in your pocket and help me name my target for thus fantastic cause. If I make my target I promise I'll try for something bigger next year if my heart will let me!
