The brain is the most complex organ in our body. It controls our emotions, senses and actions. So when it breaks down, we break down. We fund the best research to discover the causes, develop new treatments and improve the lives of those affected. Let’s unite to accelerate progress. Today.

Story

Thanks for dropping in to donate to the BRT. I ran the Tokyo Marathon on 22nd March and got around the 26.2 miles in 4:26:05, a new personal best time, it was a very good day!

Donating through this site is easy and totally secure. It is the most efficient way to sponsor me. The Brain Research Trust will receive your money directly, and, if you are a UK taxpayer, 28% extra is added to your donation at no cost to you.

The Brain Research Trust is trying to find cures for some horribly debilitating disorders of the brain. Please join me in helping to knock these killers on the head;  Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Huntingtons, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone, brain tumours, epilepsy and stroke.

Many thanks for your support, especially if you have sponsored me before for running at Edinburgh, London or Chicago. I should warn you now that I will be back again in September running in Berlin!
