About my charity : The Prostate Cancer Charity The Prostate Cancer Charity
In the UK: Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 35,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. One man dies every hour of prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is the UK’s leading charity working with people affected by prostate cancer. We fund research, provide support and information, and we campaign to improve the lives of men with prostate cancer. We provide the only UK-wide prostate cancer Helpline staffed by prostate cancer specialist nurses. Our nurses offer free and confidential information and support to anyone affected by prostate cancer. The Prostate Cancer Charity is working towards a world where lives are no longer limited by prostate cancer. The Charity is fighting prostate cancer on every front - through research, support, information and campaigning.

UPDATE- I FINISHED THE RACE IN 23 HOURS AND 53 SECONDS, 714TH OVERALL AND 83RD IN CLASS

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page

To "celebrate" turning 50 I have entered the "CCC" which is the baby brother of the Ultratrail du Mont Blanc, a race around the highest mountain in Western Europe. 98 kilometers, 5600 metres of vertical climb and a time limit of 26 hours- and that's the easy version!! The event starts in Courmayer in Italy on Friday 29th August, visits Champex in Switzerland and finishes in Chamonix by Saturday lunchtime. The photo was taken en route while training recently

Sadly, my father is suffering from prostate cancer and I want to use the event to raise funds for the Prostate Cancer Charity. I would be really grateful if you could sponsor me.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Prostate Cancer Charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
