So anyway we were in the pub one night a couple of years ago and after a few drinks Richard and I got on to the topic of cycling. Despite neither of us having ridden very much at all, we decided that we absolutely had to ride from Lands End to John O' Groats.  Almost two years later and we appear to actually be going ahead; holidays are booked off, we are in "training" using the tried and tested "blue dot game".


We've decided to try and raise as much money as possible  for Cancer Research UK, mostly because they do so much stuff for so many people in so many different fields. They also conduct research into all aspects of cancer treatment and prevention across the whole country.
