Thanks for visiting my Street Child Africa JustGiving page.

You may think I'm bonkers raising money instead of getting lots of lovely pressies, but this is a charity I think is worth it. It all started some 15 years ago when one man, Fr Patrick Shannon, launched his appeal to the local Thames Ditton community.

Since then it has gone from strength to strength changing the lives of thousands of children across Africa. It is still run by local people and is now the leading UK charity devoted to doing what its name suggests - helping the street children of Africa. It works in partnership with African agencies who offer the children guidance, education, medical care, skills training and sponsorship. Basically the chance to choose a different path in life.

I hope you think its a worthwhile charity too. If you do then any donation would be great.
