Last year the average cost for HOPE worldwide of getting a homeless person into long term accommodation was £192 - a saving to society of almost £24,000 (CRISIS). The average cost to HOPE worldwide of helping each recovering addict stay clean was a staggering £22,000, again a saving to society of £67,000 (Home Office).
