Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

You cannot fail to be aware that we are helping this wonderful charity to grant three wishes for local children to receive a blessing from Pope Benedict XVI.  We hope that you will share our belief that this is a truly worthy cause and look to dig deep into your pockets to support us!

On Friday 29 May 2009 a team of six drivers in three vehicles will set off from Leicester on the journey - Jill is one of those drivers.  The journey will take them via France, Germany, Switzerland and Italy.  On route they will meet with The Mayor of Milan and The Mayor of Rome.

On Tuesday 2 June the three Wish children, parents and carers will be flown to Rome airport.  Aileen is one of those carers.

The three vehicles will collect them from the airport and take them to St.Peter’s Square at the Vatican where, after Mass, they will meet with The Pope for a personal blessing.

If you'd like more information on the Wish, please give us a call - you know how to reach us and we'd be more than happy to tell you all about it!!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us as Wishes 4 Kids receive the funds directly, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
