Hello,

Thank you all so much for being so generous! I just want to try to reach everyone who put money into the kitty to express my gratitude for supporting us the way you have. We have raised more than £1300.00, and I'm told that with Gift Aid, the total will surpass £1700.00! In these times, that is just really impressive and totally inspiring; THANK YOU SO MUCH!

The whole experience was amazing! So many people doing something so gruelling to make a difference in the lives of so many others! I was, and still am, emotionally struck by it all! And I'd like to do it again!

Oh, and yes, I did finish, which seems the littlest of details following what we all witnessed. I came in in a time of 5:59:22; now there's a record to be broken!

So, it seems to me, after that really beautiful day of 26 April 2009, that 26 miles and 385 yards was just the 'small' issue! I've come away with amazing memories of ordinary and more than ordinary people doing their bit to make a difference. Someone recently coined the phrase 'yes, we can'; he's right!
