Our personal message:

1964 to 2008
aged: 43
From: Dagenham/kent

Ronald - or Ron as he was known - was tragically taken from us all yesterday. He was killed in a motorbike accident in Somerset where he was motorbike training for his job as a paramedic. One which saw him saving peoples lives, but this tragically has taken his.

Rons death has devastated everyone that knew him. Ron has left behind his wife Nicola, His daughter Joanne, His sister Karen & brothers Andy and Robert, and his step son Ben.
He married the love of his life - Nicola 15 months ago in the Dominican Republic, and Joanne and Ben were there to see them seal their love. Uniting them all as one happy family. Ron was a typical family man.

Ron worked at Romford Ambulance Station, in Romford as a paramedic. A job that he loved, Saving peoples lives and helping them no matter what the cost. A job he was devoted to and Ron always had a story to tell. He often had you in fits and laughter and tears. he really was amazing...

He was respected and loved by everyone there. This is where he met Nicola, and Ron was the "one true love" of her life. She had waited so long for him to come along, and now he has been cruelly taken from her and the family.... His death has been a shock to us all.

Ron was born and bred in Dagenham, where he lived with his wonderful close knit, loving family. Only recently did Ron and Nicola decide to move to Kent to have a better life.

Ron was also excited at becoming a Grandad for the 1st time in a few months. His Granson will be told what a fantastic man his Grandad was, and his memories will live on forever - in us all. xxxx

Ron was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, son in law and friend. To have known him was amazing. He had the most amazing smile, and zest for life, and always had a fantastic outlook on life. He was one of lifes "most amazing people", and one that I am so proud to have known, and will be so so missed.

Ron- YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, GOD BLESS YOU AND SLEEP PEACEFULLY. XXXXXX

If I should go tomorrow
It would never be goodbye,
For I have left my heart with you,
So dont you ever cry.
The love thats deep within me,
Shall reach you from the stars,
Youll feel it from the heavens,
And it will heal the scars.

......A NOTE FROM NICOLA......
I cannot express my gratitude and thanks to you all for your kind words and messages to Ron on this site. And in such a sad sad time myself and the family have found great comfort in knowing how much Ron was truly loved and liked. The grief and pain we as a family are going through is undescribeable. Every day is like a living nightmare, wishing what happened was only a dream , and thats Ron is going to walk back through the door to me and all his family. Our hearts are truly broken.

I would like to offer people the opportunity to make donations to the Air Amubulance Unit, (Avon & Somerset because they attended the scene for Ron on that tragic day, and they tried so hard in vain. Also The London Unit bacause highly respected them in their professions).
More details on how to do this will follow soon
Once again, Thankyou all so so much for your love & support for myself, Jo, Ben and all of Rons family.
Love Nicola xxxx
