Prudential is supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign in 2006 as its Charity of the Year. Muscular dystrophy is characterised by the gradual and relentless wasting and weakening of muscles. The severity of the conditions vary from mild muscle weakness to death in infancy. It is a devastating condition affecting 30,000 in the UK. The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign supports people with muscle-wasting conditions by providing support through its Care Advisors and Information Service, and hope for the future via its research programme. This is a case where every penny counts!
