About my charity : Children Of The Andes Children Of The Andes
Children of the Andes is a UK charity dedicated to supporting Colombia's most disadvantaged children by working with local NGOs. With project partners it aims to provide relief from the effects of violence and poverty and promote longer-term development through a range of education, health, social care and conflict resolution initiatives.

This is an example of what we could achieve with your donations:

  • If a friend sponsors you with a donation of £10 to COTA, they would cover the costs of food for one child during a month.
  • If you raise £ 50 that would cover the annual school enrolment fee for two children.
  • £160 could be used to pay the monthly salary of a nurse in one of our programmes in Bogotá.
  • If the participants in the Women’s 5k Challenge raise £1570 for COTA, we could cover the costs of the vocational education programme for the beneficiaries of one of the organisations that we support in Cali (including fees and additional materials).
