Our personal message:

On 23rd November, we will be taking part in the 10km Great Ethiopia Run in Addis Ababa.  It’s the first time either of us have run 10k…ever!  But we are doing it for a very good cause – we’re aiming to raise £6000 between us to help fund  HOPE International’s vital water projects in Southern Ethiopia.  Rosanna will also spend a week visiting some of the projects after the run.

HOPE International works in the Derashe Woreda district in Southern Ethiopia where only 11% of the local population has reliable access to safe drinking water.  One year after HOPE established water projects there, the incidence of diseases such as Malaria in the local communities surrounding the water projects were all cut in half or more.
 
Your sponsorship will allow HOPE International to help even more people in Southern Ethiopia.  We are funding our own travel and costs for the trip so everything you give will go directly towards HOPE’s work.
