Story
Hello,
As most of you know, I trained hard for the London Marathon 2014 but unfortunately fell at the last hurdle when the GP told me I was too anaemic to run... And also pregnant. One year and one beautiful baby boy later, I'm more determined than ever and here's why:
There are forgotten men, women and children over in Afghanistan who struggle each day to survive, who live in terrible conditions, who are unsure of what the future holds for them.
Afghanaid strives to bring peace and development to this nation devastated by war and tremendous poverty. I have pledged to raise £2000 - the cost of building materials needed for one family to build a home.
Running a marathon is not a single persons feat. It takes good family, friends and supporters. So thank you all! We made it!
