Story
Thank you for visiting 'The Rose Ward Teams' fundraising page. Our grand total including Gift Aid to date is a staggering £14,267.42......Keep it coming!
Hi, my name is Georgia Beazley, myself and a team of 72 ladies competed and completed in a 5KM event in Hyde Park in September 2007. As a long term Rose Ward patient my aim is to raise funds for audio/visual entertainment equipment e.g. games consoles & accessories, web-cam's, interative white board, laptops, T.V's & DVD's. I am 11 years old and suffer from Cystic Fibrosis, and I would be really grateful of your generous support.
This equipment will enable all children who are in segregation, isolation, or who are just to poorly to get out of bed, to keep up with school work, communicate with friends & family and be entertained during long stays on a ward away from family life.
In order to understand what us children need, you either need to live (as I do) or work on the ward. A 'Rose Ward Wish List' has carefully been put together by patients, carers and staff to ensure the money that we all worked so hard for, is spent on what the children want, and not what the big wigs think we need!
Rose Ward is the only paediatric ward within The Royal Brompton Hospital, that gives specialised care treating children with severe respiratory & cardiac conditions and diseases. The care on Rose Ward is second to none, but N.H.S resources only stretch so far. The little extra's come from people like you!

It's not too late to make a donation. The additional money raised over our target will be placed in a fund, and used for repairing and replacing this equipment as and when necessary.
