Albert Bartlett Edinburgh Marathon 2009 · 31 May 2009 ·

We work to end the exploitation of wild animals and create a future where people and wildlife live in harmony. Across the world, we protect, rescue and care for wild animals in need, while helping communities coexist peacefully with wildlife. Help us take action — and keep wildlife in the wild.

Story

I'm supporting the Born Free foundation, running the Edinburgh marathon on 31st May 2009...and running around the Isle of Wight from the 9th-14th April.

This is something I've always wanted to do, but more importantly, the Born Free Foundation is a hugely worthwhile cause which needs support.  A UK based charity which aims to protect and conserve wildlife on a international scale, Born Free promotes the protection of  endagered species, something I feel very strongly about and something that is often unnecessarily given a backseat.  For information on specific aims and current projects please visit their official website at www.bornfree.org.uk

I've set myself quite an ambitious target, aiming to raise £2000 by the end of May.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated, and I'll keep you updated on my progress throughout my training.

THANKS SO MUCH x
