Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I ran the Women's 10K in Glasgow on 18th May to raise money for SCIAF. My original target had been to raise £92 as this amount will pay the salary of a Nurse, for one month, in Uganda. In Uganda many communities have only limited access to immunisation, health information and proper hygiene. SCIAF is funding nurses to deliver immunisation programmes which will significantly reduce the number of children dying from preventable diseases. Nurses also support pregnant women - reducing the number of women dying in childbirth - and they deliver health education. To all who have donated so far THANK YOU all for your incredible generosity. The site remains open for donations, until August 2009. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Scottish Catholic International Aid Fund (SCIAF) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support. Love Roslyn xxx
