Well its another year and another Marathon.
After raising a stagering £2600 for Tommys baby charity in 2007 I am hoping to break that record and raise a well over £3000.
I hope to complete this by running the 2008 London Marathon in a 13 foot fancy dress costume weighing in at over 3 stone, and in the process raise awareness for Well Child childerens charity.

After the warm up event of the Reading Half Marathon, Nursy and myself were all set for the big day of the London Marathon 2008.
We started off well - a bit too well infact pushing out some good split times for the first 10miles. But after stopping at a burger van and demanding a free hotdog for nursy we pushed out the following 16miles at a steady and comfortable pace.
Managed to complete in 5hrs 40mins, which isn't to bad considering the extra weight we put on with the rain and hotdog!!
Many thanks for all the support on the course and via the many text we recieved. Sadly though Nursy has had to be given back to the charity. But we will be meeting again on the 23 April to recieve our award of best fancy dress at the Reading Half Marathon.
