Story

Rossdales Charity Bike Ride 2011

Addenbrooke's Hospital Oncology Centre

Our local oncology department at Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge is currently fundraising to improve the equipment and services for their oncology patients. The work done in this unit is clearly a lifeline for the 4,000+ patients that they see each year. We would like to recognise their value within our community with a financial contribution towards their excellent work. Please help us reach our target.

ACT (Addrenbrooke’s Charitable Trust) is the registered charity for Cambridge University Hospitals. Fundraising is directed through the Trust but will be distributed directly to the Oncology Unit.

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
