I did it! 

The jump took place on 27th September 2008.  It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life and I'm so chuffed that I did it.  We arrived at the jump site and were given the first slot, so I didn't have time to get really nervous.  My jump partner George was fantastic - made it really good fun. 

Thanks to all supporters - I achieved my target of £500 for The Wildlife Trust.

More important was your moral support - I could not have done it without you!

Jump Update:

Just had a fantastic day in the Lakes - but no jump!  Unfortunately, it was too windy.  We had the jump training, which really helped to reassure me, in the morning.  Then we idled away the hours, hoping for the wind to drop, before deciding that it wasn't going to happen today and re-booking for the end of September. 

Thanks to everyone for your support so far.  Now I've had the training, I am actually looking forward to making the jump.

Hi There!

Just two days to go and we now hear that we may be rained off!  But, all being well...

On Saturday 16th August I will be standing at the edge of an open doorway in an aircraft flying at 10,000ft....then freefalling back down to earth at speeds of up to 120mph.  Hopefully, I get to land in one piece too!

Yes, its crazy and I can't really believe I am doing it.  But I guess of all the sponsored events I've done in the past this is the one where your donation really counts. I will need your moral support and cash!  I need to raise at least £400 for the Wildlife Trust to get me to do it.  I have already raised £347.63 - can you help me with the last £50 or so?
