The photo on the left is my reason and motivation for running 26 miles through the streets of London on the 26th April this year.
My son Finley was born on the 2nd September 2007. Due to complications during labour, he was unable to breathe on his own and had to spend the first 3 weeks of his life inPemburyHospital's Special Care Baby unit.
As you can see by the photo, Finley made a full and complete recovery. This is due to the care and attention he received from the Doctors and Nurses in the Special Care Baby Unit.
I'm doing all the hard work! Early morning runs in the freezing cold, rain and wind, weekends spent clocking up the miles and any spare time spent in the gym.... all I ask from you is that you take a couple of minutes of your time to make a donation to Bliss through my Just Giving page. I have set a minimum target of £2500, so all your donations really will count and help make a difference! To keep my place in this years marathon, I need to reach 50% of my target by the 6th February so all your donations now will help me continue to raise money.
Update - Well, we've smashed my initial fundraising target of £2500 so I've raised it to £3500. Please keep sponsoring me!! I completed the Paddock Wood Half Marathon on Sunday 5th April in a time of 1:44:24 and my training is continuing to go well in preparation for the big day!!!
UPDATE - I finished!!!!! 4:32:40 and position 18755.

Please take a minute to read about Bliss below and I'm sure you will understand why the charity is so vitally important.
To kick start the fundraising, I have already raised £380 from the bar at my wedding reception.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BLISS gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
