Demelza Hospice Care for Children cares for life-limited children and their families across Kent, East Sussex and South London. The services combine Demelza House, an eight-bedded hospice in Kent; Demelza Community, a hospice-at-home service based in East Sussex and Demelza South London, a new six-bedded hospice opened in April 2009 in Eltham.

STOP PRESS - The first holiday for six Demelza families has now been booked to leave Ashford International for EuroDisney on 3rd May 2009!!! We need funding more than ever now!!

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page which is created to assist in providing memory-filled holidays for families living with life-limited child illness.

Most families see an infinite future for their offspring – we certainly expect our children to outlive us. However, for families with a child who suffers a life-limiting illness the spectre of the ‘perfect family life with a natural order’ is a dream they cannot realise.

Demelza Hospice Care for Children already provides invaluable support and respite care for such families, enacting its theme of ‘adding life to days, when days can’t be added to life’.

Rotary-Demelza EuroDisney Holidays is a new venture organised by the Rotary Club of Medway to provide the opportunity for Demelza families to experience the sights, sounds and thrills of EuroDisney with the support of appropriate medical staff and able bodied Rotarians.

The 4 day visit will be provided at no cost to the families and support will be provided by Rotary and Demelza volunteers whose sole purpose will be to ensure that every wish of the family members is a
‘Dream come true’.

Rotary Club of Medway - has provided hands on organisation and support for hundreds of disabled children, able bodied buddies and respite for the families of disabled children through its Handicamp holidays over the last 20yrs.

Help from other Rotary Clubs These holidays have only been possible through the vital funding and support received from other Rotary Clubs throughout the South East of England.

Financial and practical help from the community will be necessary to make Rotary-Demelza EuroDisney Holidays a reality.
