Devastating floods caused by the heaviest monsoon rains in North West Pakistan for 80 years have particularly affected areas in the districts of Mianwali, Bhakkar, Khushab & Punjab Province. More than 1600 people have perished and 4 million are affected. Many thousands have been made homeless and have no shelter or access to clean water. There are fears that Diarrhoea and Cholera will spread among the displaced, with the clean water supplies contaminated by the floods.
