On 25^th and 26^th June, I'm going to try to run round the Isle of Wight. It’s a 70 mile race, 38 miles on Day 1 and 32 miles on Day 2.

You may be wondering why... So am I. I’d like to say it sounded like a good idea at the time, but it probably didn’t… Truth be told, I do quite like having a bash at something I don’t know I can do, but more importantly, I want to raise as much money as I can for The Kabanda Trust. Click the link on the left for a short video showing what they do.

The Trust provide vital education and healthcare support to over 500 children in Uganda. Every penny you give goes straight to where it is needed. Here are a few examples of costs:

• £2 feeds one child for a whole month.

• £15 provides a child with a bed in the boarding house for a month.

• £25 pays for the school nurse for one month.

• £30 pays a teachers wage for one month.

I am going to have to dig deep to get around the course. I'm hoping that you'll dig deep and support The Kabanda Trust.
