Story
Update:
Well as you may have heard we are home, safe and dry. Unfortunately we didn’t make it all the way round . Due to bad weather, delays on the Caledonian Canal and an engine failure in Aberdeen, we only managed to make it to Grimsby. So with 1000 of the 1700 miles covered we are not quitting, just postponing the finish! We both have to be back at work now, but whenever we have a suitable weather window, and our rosters match, Ash and I will be back out to finish it off.

Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
On the 18th August 2008 as a crew of only two, we will be departing Conwy, North Wales in an attempt to circumnavigate Great Britain in just 8 days! This will be a gruelling physical and mental challenge as we navigate our way through 1700 miles of pounding waves in a boat only 4.8m (16ft) long!
Ash and I will be funding all the costs of this challenge (including fuel!), therefore every penny you give will be going directly to cancer research, so please give generously!

Day 2: Port Ellen - Lochinver
Day 3: Lochinver - Petershead
Day 4: Petershead - Hartlepool
Day 5: Hartlepool - Lowestoft
Day 6: Lowestoft - Brighton
Day 7: Brighton - Plymouth
Day 8: Plymouth-Conwy

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Our warmest appreciation,
Craig Hemshall and Ashley Harper-Little
