Kidney Wales is the leading kidney charity in Wales. We are here to support patients and their families, promote excellence in kidney research, education, and treatment within Wales.

Story

This fantastic waistcoat could be yours by simply donating £5 to Kidney Wales. The draw will be made at National Conference in Harrogate. Please ensure you leave your name, address, e mail and contact number when making your donation.

I was set a challenge by a former Area Four Round Table Chairman and President, Tudor Williams, to fill a waistcoat with Round Table, Ladies Circle & 41 Club pins by in time for National Conference in Harrogate this year and to somehow raise money from it. The proceeds going Kidney Wales, the link being that we both only have one kidney, Tudor’s removed through illness, mine donated to my brother. Sadly my kidney only lasted 12 weeks before it rejected and 2 ½ years on, my brother Alan has just started dialysis whilst waiting for another donor.

I’ve got around 300 pins on there so far and not just from the UK, there are pins from New Zealand, India, France, Germany, Sweden, Malta, Estonia and Belgium to name but a few.

If you have more pins you would like to add then please e mail me at graham@26theoaks.co.uk.

Many thanks for your support

Yours in Table
