My story
Thanks for advertising on www.roverrecommended.com to raise funds for The Border Collie Trust GB. Our target fundraising amount of £3000 will pay the vet bill at Border Collie Trust for Three months.
Our Collie cross Holly was a nervous wreck and had been abandoned in Ireland when she was rescued from a local authority dog pound by the Border Collie Trust. When you consider that in 2006, 60% of dogs in Irish local authority pounds were destroyed rather than being claimed or rehomed....she was a very lucky dog!
The Trust rescue and rehome dogs from all over the UK and without their help many of these dogs would have an uncertain future. So please dig deep and donate now to help other dogs like Holly.
