We know that terminal illness turns lives upside-down. We help people live as well as possible for as long as possible and ensure their final days are comfortable and peaceful. We support families, friends and carers too. We depend on your kindness for 80% of the cost of delivering our services.

Story

Row-a-bike-a-thon 100 miles 28th May 2010

Please help out, if anyone has experienced the work of carers in (any) hospice, these people are truly amazing. The Heart of Kent hospice can only continue to provide the free care it does through charitable donations so, when times are hard this is when they need our help the most (sales pitch over).

Chris and I will be rowing (on indoor rowing machines, we don't like getting cold and wet, well I don't) and cycling 100 miles on the 28th May 2010. We're hoping to raise as much as possible for the Heart of Kent Hospice. Anyone's welcome to join us for the cycling part of the day! It'll be in / around . We'll be cycling a circuit (details to follow) so people can join us and keep us company or just point and laugh.

We've set a target of £ 1,000 but want to raise much more if we can!

We'll be heading out from Loose and rowing in either Staffa or Iona road so all are welcome, if the weathers good we'll finish off with a BBQ and a few beers, all are welcome (for a small entry fee).

Please help out and thanks!!

Jason & Chris

(Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a taxpayer. So it's the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity).
